Garden Planning
Instead of having lots of lawn, Think Green and cut down on your lawn. Lawns require alot of maintencance (weeds, cutting-CO2 production, watering, etc) so do something else with that green space, something greener. If you want or need some lawn plant in in slow growing seed to decrease maintenance demands. See my post No Lawn for more on this and ideas on how to proceed.

Think Green: Going out to eat, which is a nice treat to stomp down the winter blues, make your trip out a green one
Suggestions: >eat at a restaurant that uses local produce-↓CO2;
>eat at an organic restaurant-↓ the use of -cides (pesticides, etc. whatever you argue about the use of cides they are still poisons, and the less poisons used the better);
>eat vegitarian-↓CO2-raising meat produces more CO2.
All green choices-enjoy time out and feel even happier by making a green choice.
